| Welcome to a world of magic that is unknown and unseen by most of the normals, those human and muggle alike.
Lets begin our journey here, at the start of day September 1. Where students are returning to their beloved school call Alnwick. Headmistress Meredith NicEssus, a Vampire. And yet there is something more to this story.
Witches and Wizards fill the halls. They are the most opened at school and out. Here they learn to control spell and cook potions. Some have other abilities and those are strengthen here as well.
But, in the shadows can be found, Vampires. The castle helps to hide them well. But a few have the ability to walk in daylight. Among themselves are those who refuse to feed off humans and those who don't care. A debate that has lasted for centuries.
The newest group to be allowed to study are the shapeshifters. Often degraded because of their deception, their change of form. How can someone be trusted if they can hide who they are? But here, they are no longer set aside but welcomed in.
Once here you will be sorted into a house:
Slytherin - like Salazar Slytherin, its founder, Slytherin house values ambition, cunning, resourcefulness. The animal representing Slytherin is the serpent, and the house colors are green and silver. It is rare that Muddbloods, Shapshifters or Werewolves are sorted into this house.
Hufflepuff - Hufflepuff, founded by Helga Hufflepuff, values hard work, loyalty, tolerance, and fair play. The house mascot is the badger, and canary yellow and black are its colors. Anyone can be sorted into this house, depending on there personality.
Ravenclaw - values intelligence, creativity, wit, and wisdom. "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure" is an oft-repeated Ravenclaw proverb. The house mascot is an eagle, the house colors are blue and bronze. It is rare that Pure bloods, or Vampires are sorted into this house.
Gryffindor - Gryffindor values courage, daring, nerve and chivalry. Its mascot is the lion, and its colors are red and gold. Not everyone can be sorted into this house, you must be the purest of heart, and full of Bravery.
